Jordan: The second low-pressure system of the `Ghaith` rainy weather system deepens, and a highly effective cold front crosses the Kingdom.
Arab Weather - The latest satellite images in Arab Weather indicate that the Kingdom will be increasingly affected during the night hours by the rainy weather system “Ghaith”, with the approach of the second of the low-pressure systems classified within this system, which is classified as a third degree (moderate to high effectiveness).
As the night progresses, the impact of the low-pressure system is expected to intensify, as large quantities of rain clouds rush in from the Mediterranean Sea, coinciding with the passage of a highly effective air front, which will regulate the rainfall. Therefore, this night will be cold, cloudy, and rainy, with the rain sometimes being heavy and possibly accompanied by thunder and hail.
It warns of the risk of flash floods and the flow of valleys and streams in low-lying areas, including the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, in addition to the possibility of soil and rock erosion, especially in mountainous areas, as a result of the saturation of the land with rainwater. It is also expected that low clouds will pass near the ground, leading to the formation of fog over the high mountain peaks.
And God knows best.
